~/ Mini-game Simulator

Halloween edition of the mini-game simulator. I'll be providing a general overview as well as a personal predictor which will be up as soon as possible. Enjoy!

Quick Facts

The "Trick-or-Treat" edition of the minigame has similar mechanics. Some notable changes:
  • As opposed to previous "meteorites" which either pushed you forwards 0 spaces of moved you back 5 spaces, you either have the chance to move forwards or be pushed back by 5 spaces with "Islands of Fortune".
  • As it is noted that there are "laps", it is a reasonable assumption to say that the checkpoints are equally spaced. However, islands of fortune are independently determined. It is a reasonable assumption to say that this should have similar behavior to the Dark Matter mini-game but have an extra 22-step lap.
Additionally, there are 6 checkpoints instead of 5, and they definitely appear to be more impressive than the last minigame's prizes (though Tanki Fund and Dark Matter enjoyers may note that there are a few prize repeats). Here's a quick run-down on the prizes at each checkpoint:
  • Checkpoint 1: Event Paint
  • Checkpoint 2: Nuclear Energy, Prot Slot, Hammer's Jamming Shot
  • Checkpoint 3: Smoky LGC, Wasp LGC, Hammer's Blunderbuss
  • Checkpoint 4: Crisis, Hammer's Pulsar
  • Checkpoint 5: Viking DC, Armadillo
  • Checkpoint 6: Hammer DC

Defining the Game Simulator

The best way to see how likely it is to earn prizes is with a game simulator. I have defined some very basic mechanics that gives the right amount of information for gameplay.

Click here to view code:Under construction! Need to do a few reworks based on the original code and modify a few things based on the mechanics, so the general modifications should be up in a few days.

General Conclusions

Want to know the most likely chances of getting some of the prizes? The general simulator gives a general idea of both 1. expected distance with a set amount of lollipops (assuming that you are able to earn the most possible guaranteed F2P lollipops, which is 600[1]) and 2. the general amounts needed to complete specific checkpoints.

Under construction. Here is a preliminary based on the previous mini-game:

Using similar priors from the past minigame, you can expect to land between 46 to 60 steps with 600 energy, with a mean/SD of 52.739 and 5.508.

This will be updated soon with updated values once information on the total steps and the location of checkpoints/islands of fortune are determined.. Keep an eye out for the following changes:
  • Interactive bar graph displaying possible outcomes.
  • Quick blurb about observations of said outcomes.

[1] Total F2P lollipops is actually 604 (280 total for special missions, 7 total for 40 lollipops/mission; 324 total for daily missions, 27 days of 3 daily missions for 4 lollipops/mission), but 4 extra lollipops is not usable unless you are able to catch special Gold Boxes to get to the next nice number for an extra turn.
